Leila’s recent San Francisco Symphony concerts reviewed favorably

Leila’s 4-concert performance with the San Francisco Symphony received a great many favorable reviews. She was praised by the San Jose Mercury News for a “slashing performance of fierce rhythm and seely control,” and San Francisco Classical Voice gave Leila a stellar review: “You hear how difficult the concerto is, but when Josefowicz performs it, without a single blown or slurred note — and with miles and miles of heart — there is no visual evidence of anything problematic.”
